Firstly, I'll start this off with the report that Michael Fassbender (Inglorious Basterds, 300) has been announced to play an android character in the new Scott film, Prometheus, which evolved from the Alien Prequel project.
But things get weirder.
The same site, Sky Movies, is reporting that a source has told them that "not only are HR Giger's classic aliens in it, but that they're integral to the plot."
This is also coupled with rumors that Fassbender will play an android character with links to the Bishop line of androids.
It goes further to say that the Space Jockey cockpit has been reconstructed at Pinewood. As in, reconstructed how it was seen in the first Alien film.
So, are these inside sources wrong or illegitimate? Or does Prometheus really take place in the Alien universe?
I guess we'll have to wait to find out.
