Apparently the news regarding Prometheus has not slowed down even a bit.
Firstly, a little while ago Charlize Theron (previously rumored to be a contender for the leading role) has been announced to be a supporting role in the film. While interesting, it certainly isn't as crazy as the news since then.
As you can see, Shreav has reported that Micheal Fassbender has stated that the film does take place in the Alien universe.
But for the best news?

Apparently, according to an inside source (reported at Sky), the minds behind the upcoming Prometheus are designing an animatronic Space Jockey for the film. An eight-foot animatronic Space Jockey at that.
It goes on to say that H. R. Giger is still working on the project "but only in an advisory capacity".
Some other odd details are reported such as the fact that a "giant semi-human head" will be piloting a space ship.
Cool?
