Games. We love 'em, and you probably do too. The Aliens vs. Predator franchise has had a long and extensive history in the gaming industry. The first game released in the franchise was as far back as 1982, with a game adaption of Alien. Each subsequent Alien sequel has also had its own game adaption. The first Predator game was released the same year as the first film, 1987. Both sequels in the Predator franchise have also had their own game adaptions. The first crossover game, Alien vs. Predator, was released in 1993 and was based upon the comic book franchise.

To date, there have been seventeen officially licensed video games released based on the Alien franchise, six based on the Predator franchise, and fourteen crossover games. These have been created by various developers and released for a variety of platforms including video game consoles, handheld game consoles, personal computers, and mobile phones.
